This is the way it should be done, guys. Simple, quick and cheap - happy days.

Serves 4
455g/1lb dried penne
10 slices of pancetta or dry-cured
smoky bacon
olive oil
5 organic egg yolks
100ml/3 1/2fl oz double cream
125g/4 1/2oz Parmesan cheese, grated
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Cook the penne in salted boiling water until al dente (check the packet for cooking time). While the pasta's cooking, slowly fry the pancetta in a little oil until crispy. Break it up a bit, then put to one side. In a bowl, whip up the egg yolks, cream and half the Parmesan. When the pasta is cooked, drain it and immediately toss it with the warm, crispy pancetta and the egg mixture. A lot of carbonaras are over-cooked and resemble a scrambled egg sauce - if you add the penne immediately the residual heat is enough to cook the eggs and for the sauce to stay smooth and silky. Season well, using plenty of freshly ground black pepper, and add extra Parmesan to taste. Serve straight away, with a big bowl of salad and a nice bottle of red wine.

Yesterday, 20th.March.2003, Thursday

Werking the whole day yesterday, finaly gotta chat with Serene round knocking off time. Just idle chat which eventually became like a "eh, how long has you and Noel been together?" and vice versa. Hahaha. Got a shock man! She and Noel has been together for 2 years ler!!! And the parents of Noel also know they are together. Hahaha. Wah lau. Then she show me the photo card that they took together, she gave me a packet of dried peaches, coz I said it's nice. hahaha. Haiyo, cannot imagine! Actually she and noel just broke up recently, but they patch back coz Serene told me she ain't that kinda person who can let go that easily, plus she still care about noel. Haiyo.. so sweet de. Madness ler la... One simple chat leads to so many "news". Anyways, she said she's going to the next herstory butch hunt. Hehehe.

At this time of the night, I'm still blastng my Stephanie's album on loud. Can even hear from my bro's room with the door to my room closed.

Hmmm.. anyways, darlin ask why was I cranky on Saturday night and how come I was jealous, eventhough she's only smsing *****... Actually, I dunno why was I jealous eventhough I know that darlin isnt the type that would go straying... But sometimes I guess it's kinda of a reflex kinda reaction... especially when it comes to R/S. Just the sudden thought of "goodness, she's messaging someone she liked before" sometimes can really keep you on your toes for a split second (well, maybe a split hour or so). I dunno if anyone agrees if that is a reflex reaction... but I strongly feel it so...

Sometimes in a R/S, it's glad to know that your partner actually gets jealous if you happen to be talking to someone you liked before or even smsing them. It kinda means that (s)he dun wanna lose you and (s)he really love and cares you. But thinking in a negative way, maybe they're just being possessive when they dun even care. But a true R/S, both partner must learn to tolerate each other eventhough one party might hate or dislike the other party's friend's or stuff that they do. They must be able to trust, not neccessary agree on everything, able to live in harmony and not being over suspicious over the things that either of them do. Able to open up to each other, but there will be times when somethings are better left unsaid...

Well, darlin asked me again that, "Am I supposed to get jealous?" when I told her I dreamt of Serene and even feeding her cookies. I guess everyone has the right to get jealous when they hear of such stuff... But a limit has to be there, if someone get's jealous in everything that they deem unfit in their eyes, that's possessiveness and not love anymore. So... darlin'.. you can get jealous lor. hahaha...

Been quite long since I last blog ler...
Today damn boh liaoz. Stay at home for so long. Gonna meet darling later.. maybe teach her how to use the hair dryer?? Hahahaha.
Then gracie called me, first time we chatted for more than an hour (1hr 15minutes) Hahaha. All the while she's trying to go to sleep and me trying to wake up.

Things been pretty upsetting for a few alternating days... The incident's been affecting darlin... and she gets really moody over the stupid incident which came from my family... Why does that guy have to fuck up my life and screw it up? My life sucks.... it completely sucks right to the core except for the part where I have my darling with me.
